- We couldn't be more pleased with the care Carter has received since he started attending KOC at 6 months old. In the infant room we felt like we were leaving him with a ''grandma" as Ms. Maggie loves and cares for the babies like they are her own. And since his moving to the toddler room, he has learned all his colors, the sign language for them, and can say his ABC's and count to 15 all before the age of 2! Although I miss him while I'm at work, I don't have a moment of worry about his care or how he is doing because I know the staff loves him like their own. With all of that, as well as always getting a "have a great day/evening" as I walk out the door, we couldn't be more happy! Penny G.
- Kids of the Crown has been an integral part of our children's development. They always provide the best care from the best teachers, always with every child's best interest in the forefront. The "open door" relationship between parents and staff is priceless. Truly the best Christian care in Rowlett! A KOC Parent
- Michael has been going to KOC for 7 years. Not once have we had an issue with a teacher. KOC assisted with Michael's "potty training" and have helped teach him proper manners and behavior. You have been a blessing to our family! Michael's Parents
- We brought our 2 year old daughter to KOC after a wonderful year with a Nanny and two disastrous months with other local child care facilities. What drew us to KOC was initially the fact that it was a faith-based program with a formal curriculum that seemed more pre-school than daycare. However, from our initial tour to now, it has been the staff that brings us back every day. This facility is not a "daycare"..it is our child's second home. The teachers and staff are all bright, educated, and passionate about doing the right thing for the children. TV's are used minimally, there is a strong focus on education, learning, and social development with a foundation of Christian learning supporting everything. Children from different classes learn one another's names and treat one another with kindness and respect. Not once have I felt like KOC was a "business." Our child's teachers know not just her name, but her personality, her likes, her medical concerns, her eccentricities, etc. However, I also feel that they have worked very hard to learn the same things about us as parents and report back regularly to us on little things that we would like to know about her-without us needing to prompt. I could name her teachers individually citing how awesome they are, but the reality is that even the teachers from other classes know us and our child, and you just don't get that at a "daycare" facility. Our child will stay at KOC as long as her age allows, but I would highly recommend it to any family who is interested in giving your child the absolute best teachers, learning, and overall experience that they can provide to their child.
