Meet our Director and Staff...
Our Director, Cindy Hadley, has worked with children for over 40 years and has been involved in Early Childhood ministry for over 20 years. She graduated from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska with a teaching degree. Ms. Cindy is married and has two grown children, two grandsons and one granddaughter. She also has 2 dogs that have helped to fill the empty nest. She has been at Kids of the Crown for over 12 years and has a tremendous love for the Lord and for the children in our care.
Jan Bradley, our Pre-K5 teacher has been working in children's ministry for over 15 years and has been at KOC for 10 years. She is a part of the Administration Team and works in the office in the afternoons. She has worked will all ages, but has really enjoyed investing time and love in the Pre-K5 and Schoolage rooms. She has 4 grown children and 6 grandchildren. She enjoys sharing Christ's love with others, gardening, reading and her family.
Jessica Smith has over 20 years experience in the childcare field and is currently serving as our cook. In addition to working in all classrooms when needed, she serves on the Administration Team as an assistant in the office and is one of our bus drivers. Ms. Jessica is married and has been blessed with four small children that keep her very busy. She has been at Kids of the Crown for over 5 years and enjoys teaching the children about their Savior, Jesus.
Deanna Huckabee, known to kids, families and staff as Ms. DeeDee has worked in childcare for 12 years and has been at KOC since July 2006. In addition to teaching the Pre-K3 & K4 class she serves on the Administration Team. DeeDee enjoys bringing the Bible lessons to life with her class by having the children act out the stories. Not only is Ms, DeeDee a teacher, her sons have attended KOC as well. Her oldest is now in Middle school and her youngest is in the Schoolage room.
Maggie Turnbow has been a teacher in the Infant room at KOC for over 6 years. She previously had a 20 year career in the insurance industry. After caring for her elderly parents for many years she believed that God gave her the gift of caring for others, which along with her deep love for children led her to Kids of the Crown. Ms. Maggie has two grown sons.
Courtney Ragsdale has been with KOC since June 2011. She graduated from Princeton High School. She is the oldest of 4 sisters and 1 brother.
Courtney's goal is to become a therapist for adopted, fostered and abused children. Children are her passion.
She says, "They brighten my day, every day. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with your children.
Colleen Cabaj has recently joined the staff at KOC as the afternoon school-age teacher. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Journalism, with a minor in English and has recently completed her alternative teaching certification. She has worked with children for 10 years in both youth ministry and private tutoring. She has 4 grown children and in her free time enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, writing and playing with her dogs.

LaTrice Tryon joined the KOC staff at the end of September 2011. She brings over 10 years of experience in childcare working primarily with Infants and Toddlers. She is married with two children, ages 8 and 11. She wants to go to school to earn her degree in child development. She loves working with all ages because they are a joy to be around. She is excited to be at KOC and play such an important role in your child’s life.
Valerie Flores graduated from Garland High School. She joined the KOC staff in September 2011. She is the only girl and the middle child of three. She has always wanted to work with children because they always fill her day with joy. I appreciate their unconditional love and affection. She is currently in school working on her Early Childhood degree hoping to become a Kindergarten teacher someday. She is thankful to be a part of your little ones life!
Although Barbara Watson is new to Kids of the Crown since October 2011, she has worked in the child care field for 2 years. She has a goal of earning her CDA. Ms. Barbara has 2 grown children. She loves working with children because they bring such joy! She is happy to be working at Kids of the Crown.

A ministry of
Kristen Cantrell joined the staff of KOC in January 2012. Her passion is working with children and she is currently attending school part time to work towards a degree in elementary education. Kristen is married and has three boys, Austin, Jackson and Benjamin. They are her life!
In her spare time, Kristen enjoys knitting, singing and reading.
